Commanding II - Different Cultures, Different Voices (Period 2)

In this class has a multicultural curriculum where the books we are reading are by authors from many different backgrounds.  We will be focusing on the concept of "mirrors and windows."  This means that we will be looking at stories that reflect our own identities and stories that give us a view of other cultures and identities.  We will be celebrating our multicultural classroom through our writing.
