The Newtown Debate Team is gearing up to compete at In-Tech High School in the upcoming American Debate League tournament. Our debaters will take on both sides of the timely resolution: The United Kingdom should rejoin the European Union. This challenge will give our team the opportunity to sharpen their critical thinking, refine their public speaking, and engage with one of today’s most significant global questions.
