First and foremost, congratulations to our girls' SOFTBALL team for finishing among the top five in their division! They have a playoff game today at 4:00 PM at home—let’s come out and support them! A big shout-out also goes to our BASEBALL team for making the playoffs; our boys finished second in their division. Their playoff season kicks off this Wednesday (location TBD). Thank you to all the staff, students, and families who came out to support our baseball team during senior night last Thursday—it was a wonderful night filled with lasting memories.
Not only am I proud, but I also have to say I’m a little envious of Mr. Kouril and his hiking club; that big hike looked amazing in the pictures I saw! The experiences he creates for the students are nothing short of incredible.
Let’s take a moment to celebrate our amazing school spirit! Yesterday, under the leadership of Ms. Burgos, we participated in the New York City Teen Race of Hope. We won FIRST place for school spirit, FIRST place for the largest team, and SECOND place for raising the most money! I still remember Ms. Burgos sharing this vision back in September, and it was beyond words to see our community come together to make it a reality. Thank you all for your generous support during last week’s bake sale for the drama club—it was a huge success!
Looking ahead, we have another bake sale this Thursday for our glam club, along with the Senior Awards Night on the same day. The week will end with an unforgettable performance of in the Heights on Friday night get your tickets! Hope to see everyone there!
Thank you all for your hard work and dedication. Let’s keep this momentum going and continue to make our school proud!
