I hope you all enjoyed a fantastic four-day weekend filled with fun fall activities!
As we step into this week, I wanted to take a moment to highlight some exciting events happening here at Newtown. We're coming off a great week with lots of team wins and an amazing pep rally, and I'm looking forward to continuing that momentum!
This week marks our first open house of the year, and I can’t wait to meet our potential new students and families as they explore what we have to offer.
In addition, we have several important events that I encourage everyone to support:
- Tomorrow, we have a bake sale to help our volleyball team reach their tournament goals. Please spread the word!
- Our girls' junior varsity volleyball team will have a game on Friday, and our girls' tennis team will compete on both Thursday and Friday.
- On Thursday, our boys' soccer team will also be in action.
- Today is a special day for our girls' soccer team as they celebrate their senior game.
- We will have some of our Senior Baseball Players at the Senior Showcase on Saturday in Coney Island.
- Lastly, a huge shout-out to Dariel Mateo, who will represent our boys' bowling team at the Queensborough Championship on Thursday!
