Students in Newtown’s AP English Language and Composition program achieved an impressive literary milestone this year through their participation in the Young Writers’ Fright Club contest. A total of 39 creative mini-horror sagas written by Newtown students have been selected for publication in the contest’s upcoming anthology.
The achievement reflects both the students’ creativity and their ability to craft compelling narratives within a challenging genre. Having such a large number of entries chosen for publication is a notable accomplishment and highlights the strength of Newtown’s English program and its commitment to fostering young writers.
