Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Newtown High School: Art, Music, and Poetry Event

The ENL and World Languages Department proudly invites the Newtown High School community to our Hispanic Heritage Month Art, Music, and Poetry Celebration on Friday, September 25, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Library.

This special event will showcase the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latin American communities through student-centered displays and performances. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy:

  • Student artwork and creative projects
  • Poetry presentations and cultural expression
  • Music and dance performances
  • Food and refreshments
  • A celebration of cultural heritage, community, and creativity

Hispanic Heritage Month provides an opportunity to recognize and honor the diverse histories, traditions, and achievements of Hispanic communities. This event brings together students, families, staff, and community members to celebrate the vibrant cultures that help make Newtown High School such a diverse and welcoming place.
