National Honor Society

Overview:
Membership in the National Honor Society is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a high school student. Selection is based upon careful consideration of a student’s scholarship, service, leadership, and character.  Scholarship requirement:  89 Cumulative GPA
 
Requirements:
1. Maintain an 89 GPS (cumulative average).
2. Complete 20 hours of school service each year.
3. Complete 20 hours of community service each year (July to February).
4. Log all hours into x2VOL tracking system.
5. Attend Arista meetings.
6. Participate in ARISTA events.
7. Maintain an 89 (or higher) average.

Students who meet the GPA requirement receive an invitation at the end of each school year.  Candidates who meet the requirements are then inducted in the spring.  Members are in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.
