Boys JV Basketball

The Newtown High School Boys Junior Varsity Basketball team provides an opportunity for Freshman and Sophomore boys to play competitive basketball while cultivating teamwork, leadership, and decision-making skills. Through competitive sports, our students further their physical abilities as well as their mental acumen. Sports are more than just games, and our team is more than just a uniform. Our student athletes are expected to demonstrate Newtown's values - Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Discipline, and Excellence.

Coach Alcaraz brings five years of coaching experience to the JV team. Coach Alcaraz is an avid athlete who strongly believes in the transformative power youth sports can have on our students.
