What the Seal of Biliteracy is...
The Seal of Biliteracy is an official recognition awarded to students who have demonstrated proficiency in English and at least one additional language by high school graduation. This honor celebrates the value of bilingualism and prepares students for success in a global society.
Students who earn the Seal of Biliteracy receive a seal on their diploma and transcript, highlighting their language skills for college admissions and future employers.
