City Positive Youth

What is the City Positive Youth club?

The City Positive Youth Club (CPY Club) is a program funded by City Mission, a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back to the community. The CPY Club provides students with opportunities to earn community service hours and PBIS points while promoting character development. Through hands-on service projects, events, and activities, members gain meaningful experiences that foster leadership, teamwork, and personal growth.

What we do

Each month, the CPY Club focuses on a unique community project designed to make a positive impact. We hold four meetings each month, including Project Brainstorm & Planning Day, Mental Health & Project Preparation Day, and Project Day, where members put their ideas into action. To wrap up each month, we celebrate our hard work and success with Community Day. A time to recognize our achievements and reflect on how we’ve made a difference together.

Our mission

To make a difference in our neighborhood by empowering youth leaders to identify issues, develop creativity, and grow in emotional intelligence.

We expect that everyone will be committed to communicating well with one another. Share ideas, ask questions, and stay updated through Instagram or Classroom announcements. If you can’t attend or need to leave early, please inform a staff member in advance.

Work as a Team – Everybody has a part to play in a team. Everyone's voice. thoughts, opinions and

perspectives are important in a team. Best decisions are made together, not as individuals. We expect that everyone will be committed to learning to work together.

Safe Space – There will be moments of vulnerability, so it's very important that this is a safe place for people to share and feel the sense of belonging. We expect that everyone is committed to creating a safe environment for all people.
