End of the year Multicultural Celebration
Mr. Georgiou and Ms. DeLeon's Period 4 class held a multicultural celebration where students prepared and shared delicious dishes from their cultures, giving their classmates a chance to experience and enjoy a variety of global flavors.
Career Discovery trip to Master Tech Hub
On May 9th, 2025, Our ENL students participated in Multilingual Career Discovery trip to Mastercard Tech Hub. This is part of a special program that aims to expose ENL students to high demand professions and introduce them to professionals who share similar ENL journeys. Mastercard Hub is in charge of all innovation technology connected to financial transactions around the world. Students got to meet multilingual managers, creative directors, researchers from different departments and even design their own App.
Queens College Trip - Navigating Your Academic and Professional Future Summit
On May 6th, 2025, our ENL students attended an inspiring Academic & Career Guidance event at Queens College, hosted by the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. They heard from professionals who shared their journeys, took part in a Q\&A, and explored career paths. During a working lunch, students used digital tools to explore their interests, then created personalized “Smart Plans” to break long-term goals into steps. One student even won a Chromebook in the raffle!
