Model Paragraph
The imagery Shakespeare uses of light represents a central idea of intensity. When Romeo sees the light "break" through Juliet's window it inspires him to compare her to different types of light. In calling her "the sun" and noting that her cheek is so bright that it would "shame [the] stars" the audience visualizes intense brightness. This intensity mirrors Romeo's intense love for Juliet.
